Zen Fundraising joined the nationwide celebration for #UKCharityWeek this week by spreading the joy of giving with our partners and community.

We put our charity partners, both past and present, who've embarked on this awe-inspiring journey alongside us in the spotlight.

We stand shoulder to shoulder with all UK charities, our incredible supporters, and our very own Team Zen. You are the motivation behind our mission, and we wholeheartedly appreciate your passion and support.

This week, we encouraged NGOs and non-profits everywhere to express gratitude to the unsung heroes behind their missions – the donors, volunteers, and supporters who fuel their impact.

On our social media this week, we shared several ways to do this through:

  • A simple thank-you email can mean the world to those who've stood by your side.

  • Painting a vivid picture of the profound impact your charity is making through stories and testimonials.

  • Encouraging your supporters to share their reasons for celebrating your impact or make a donation to become part of the celebration.

Give five and feel alive:

On Tuesday, the 5th of December, our fundraising focus revolved around the simple yet profound act of giving back £5 for good.

We shared five impactful ways a small donation can make a world of difference for our charity partners and additional non-profits:

1) With VSO, your £5 can provide hygiene packs of essential items, helping vulnerable girls stay in school. Because education is empowerment!

2) Young Lives vs Cancer can put your £5 per month to work by funding essential technology and offering remote support to young people and families facing challenging times.

3) For NSPCC, your £5 could help protect children with no one else to turn to.

4) Amnesty International can use your £5 per month to raise awareness of human rights abuses and advocate for change on a global scale.

We encouraged people to give and, better yet, inspire five friends to do the same. the fear and uncertainty of homelessness.

Because five voices are stronger than one. (Just ask our Birmingham fundraising team, who are all smiles, as always.

On Thursday, we celebrated Christmas Jumper Day, the annual celebration that embraces the joy of giving.

Individuals, schools, workplaces, and communities unite yearly to promote the festive spirit and raise funds for charitable initiatives.

In aid of UK Charity Week, this day serves a philanthropic purpose, as individuals are encouraged to donate to various causes and organisations to make a positive impact.

As the week of UK charity celebrations comes to a close, Friday 8th's focus shines on the unsung heroes – volunteers.

It's the perfect opportunity to spotlight our valued charity partner, VSO. Since its inception in 1958, VSO has had a profound impact on a global scale.

Their footprint spans over 90 countries, deploying over 80,000 dedicated volunteers and extending their support to nearly 60 million individuals.

Volunteering with VSO is more than a commitment, and their comprehensive support is the cornerstone of VSO's philosophy. Volunteers are empowered to dedicate their time to what truly matters – making a difference in many people's lives.

In 2022-23 alone, VSO reached an astounding 10.9 million individuals. 🌍✨

Through their health initiatives, nearly 90,000 lives were positively impacted, ensuring better access to healthcare and improved outcomes for countless communities.

And that's a wrap. We've really enjoyed inspiring and enlightening our community with this week's campaigns. Part of our ethos is to empower charities with innovative and static ideas for fundraising campaigns. If you're planning your face-to-face program for 2024, get in touch with us for peace of mind.
