Re-launching Our Partnership with WWF: Bringing our World Back to Life

Updated: Sep 27

For over 60 years, WWF has worked to ensure that people and nature can flourish in harmony. As one of the world's leading conservation organisations, WWF's mission is to protect our planet's habitats and wildlife, making sure that all future generations can enjoy the biodiversity that makes our world so amazing. However, the success of this mission depends on a collective effort. That's where #TeamZen comes in.

WWF's cause is close to our hearts, and we are just as excited and proud of our partnership as we were when we first began collaborating. In support of this mission, we’re excited to announce our re-launch of the WWF campaign in collaboration with XL Media INT, our fundraising partner agency. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing more details about this exciting partnership, which will enable us to amplify our efforts and drive even greater impact on wildlife conservation.

Why WWF Matters to us

Our co-founder, Duncan, has always been passionate about protecting our planet's incredible wildlife. He ran the 2024 London Marathon this year to support WWF's mission.

Duncan's travels have taken him to some of the world's most amazing places, where he's had the privilege of encountering tigers, leopards, lions, and gorillas in the wild. These experiences ignited a personal mission for Duncan.

For Duncan, Zen's Partnership with WWF isn't solely about raising awareness and funds for another incredible charity partner - it's about preserving our world for future generations. And with two daughters, Duncan envisions a world where they too, can experience these amazing creatures in the wild, just as he did.

Our passion for wildlife protection runs deep throughout the team.

Take our Compliance Officer, Dylan, for example. Dylan is a proud pet owner and a long-time supporter of WWF, having adopted a tortoise years ago. Safe to say we are all animal lovers here at Zen, but beyond our love for animals, WWF's powerful work in recovering endangered species and preserving natural habitats fuels our dedication.

The importance of WWF's work Every species plays a pivotal role in the health and diversity of ecosystems. When a species goes extinct, we lose a natural protector of the planet. WWF understands this delicate balance, and its work in environmental conservation is essential to preserving our world's ecosystems.

Its projects have far-reaching impacts, from protecting the Amur leopard to safeguarding habitats from deforestation. Zen Fundraising is committed to supporting these initiatives because we believe in a world where wildlife thrives alongside humanity.

How a Donor's support makes a difference

Here's how donations can help WWF's conservation efforts:

For just £10, a donation could:

  • Pay for a mobile phone protector pouch used by field teams.

  • Provide a memory card for a camera trap to monitor endangered species like Amur leopards.

  • Fund DNA sampling equipment to track and protect vulnerable wildlife.

  • Help maintain a stone' buffalo wall' to reduce human-wildlife conflict.

  • Provide ear tags to track polar bear movements.

  • Train a sniffer dog for a day to detect ivory and protect endangered animals.

For £120 (£10 a month for a year), a donation could:

  • Buy a pair of binoculars for the orangutan team to track great apes during field surveys.

  • Provide a waterproof sleeping bag for rangers protecting endangered species like tigers.

  • Fund solar-powered predator deterrent lights to safeguard livestock from predators.

  • Equip a forest ranger with a comprehensive field kit, allowing them to protect vital ecosystems.

As we re-launch our partnership with WWF, we can remind our donors of the incredible impact they can make. We are extremely proud to stand alongside WWF in this mission and are excited for the campaign ahead. We specialise in multi-channel campaigns across private sites, events, doors, and streets. With our UK-wide reach and the ability to scale at any moment, we ensure our charity partner's causes reach their full potential.
